🚗 Driveway Cleaning FAQs
Driveway cleaning is priced from £4 per square metre with a minimum charge of £150. A typical driveway costs £150–£300. The price includes jet washing, weed removal from joints, re-sanding for block paving, and a full clean-up afterwards.
We clean all driveway surfaces including:
- Block paving (all patterns and colours)
- Concrete (plain, patterned, imprinted)
- Tarmac and asphalt
- Resin bound and resin bonded
- Natural stone (sandstone, limestone, granite)
- Indian stone and flagstones
Yes, re-sanding is included in our driveway cleaning price. After pressure washing, we brush kiln-dried sand into all the joints. This stabilises the blocks, prevents weed regrowth, and gives a professional finished appearance.
Most residential driveways take half a day to a full day depending on size and condition. Larger driveways with heavy moss or stubborn staining may take longer. We'll give you a time estimate with your quote.
When done correctly, no. We use appropriate pressure settings for each surface type. Block paving and concrete can handle higher pressure, while we use lower settings for softer materials. Our 25+ years of experience means we know exactly how to clean each surface safely.
🏡 Patio Cleaning FAQs
Patio cleaning is priced from £4 per square metre with a minimum charge of £100. A typical patio costs £100–£200. The price includes pressure washing, weed removal, re-sanding where applicable, and before/after photos.
Yes, we clean all types of natural stone including Indian sandstone, limestone, slate, granite, and York stone. We adjust our pressure and technique based on the stone type to ensure effective cleaning without damage.
Porcelain tiles are very durable and clean up beautifully. The non-porous surface means dirt sits on top rather than soaking in, so they often look like new after cleaning. We can also clean the grout lines between tiles.
We focus on hard surfaces like paving, but we're happy to give garden walls, steps, and paths a clean while we're there. We can usually include small additional areas in the quote — just let us know what you need.

🏠 Gutter Cleaning FAQs
Gutter cleaning starts from £80 for a standard property. Price depends on property size, gutter length, and accessibility. We use professional gutter vacuums and provide before/after photos showing what we removed.
We use professional gutter vacuum systems with long reach poles and cameras. This allows us to clean gutters safely from ground level in most cases, without ladders on your property. The camera shows us (and you) exactly what's in the gutters before and after.
We recommend annual gutter cleaning for most properties. If you have overhanging trees, you may need cleaning twice a year (spring and autumn). Properties without nearby trees can often go 18-24 months between cleans.
Yes, we check all downpipes are flowing freely as part of the service. If we find a blockage, we'll clear it. If there's a more serious issue (damaged pipe, etc.), we'll let you know what we've found.
Our gutter camera often reveals issues like cracks, sagging sections, or failed joints. If we spot damage during cleaning, we'll photograph it and let you know. We can advise on repairs but don't carry out gutter repair work ourselves.
💬 What Customers Say About Our Communication

"RAMS arrived promptly and ourselves and our client were extremely happy with the results. Quick turnaround when we needed it."
"Once you explain what you need, he will do it to perfection. Great communication from start to finish."
🏘️ Bungalow Roof Cleaning FAQs
Bungalow roof cleaning is priced at £12 per square metre with a minimum charge of £400. A typical bungalow costs £400–£600. This includes moss removal, low pressure steam cleaning, biocide treatment, gutter clearing, and before/after photos.
We specialise in bungalow roofs due to the safety considerations of working at height. Using mobile tower scaffolds at bungalow height allows us to work safely and thoroughly without the risks associated with two-storey buildings. This focus means we can deliver consistent, high-quality results.
We use low pressure steam cleaning, which is much gentler than high pressure washing. This effectively removes moss, algae, and staining without damaging tiles, forcing water under them, or stripping protective coatings. It's safe for all concrete and clay roof tiles.
Biocide is a professional-grade treatment applied after cleaning. It kills moss spores and algae at root level, preventing regrowth for 2-3+ years. Without biocide, moss can return within months. The treatment is included in our roof cleaning price at no extra charge.
Yes, gutter clearing is included at no extra charge. During roof cleaning, debris falls into the gutters, so we clear everything out as part of the job. We also check downpipes are flowing freely.

🏢 Commercial Pressure Washing FAQs
Commercial pressure washing starts from £4 per square metre with a minimum charge of £150. Volume discounts are available for larger areas. We provide fixed quotes based on site surveys or photos. Maintenance contracts offer additional savings for regular cleaning.
Yes, we offer out-of-hours and weekend working to minimise disruption to your business. Early mornings, evenings, and weekends are available by arrangement. This is particularly useful for retail, hospitality, and healthcare clients who need cleaning outside trading hours.
Yes, full RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) are supplied for every commercial job as standard. These are provided before work begins, giving you and your client complete documentation for compliance purposes.
Yes, we offer tailored maintenance contracts for regular cleaning schedules. Monthly, quarterly, or annual programmes are available. Contract clients benefit from priority scheduling, preferential rates, and consistent standards throughout the year.
No. Our commercial setup is completely self-contained with a 1100L water bowser. We bring all the water needed for the job — no need to provide mains water access. This makes us ideal for sites without easily accessible water points.
Yes, we offer graffiti removal using hot steam cleaning. The heated water effectively removes most graffiti without damaging underlying surfaces. For stubborn or specialist cases, we can advise on the best approach during a site survey.

No. The quote we give is the price you pay. We include everything in our quotes — cleaning, re-sanding (for paving), biocide (for roofs), before/after photos, and clean-up. The only time a price might change is if we discover something unexpected that you want us to address.
Payment is due on completion of the work. We accept cash, card, and bank transfer. For commercial clients, we can invoice with standard payment terms. No deposit is required for residential work.
We're typically booked 1-2 weeks in advance, but this varies by season. Spring and summer are our busiest periods. For urgent jobs (like overflowing gutters), we often have same-day or next-day availability — just call us.
No problem — just let us know as soon as possible and we'll rearrange. We understand plans change. If weather forces us to postpone, we'll contact you to reschedule at the earliest convenient date.
🛡️ Safety & Insurance FAQs
Yes, we carry £5 million public liability insurance. This covers any accidental damage to your property while we're working. Insurance certificates are available on request for commercial clients or property managers who need documentation.
We minimise ladder use wherever possible. For gutter cleaning, we use ground-level vacuum systems with long reach poles. For roof cleaning, we use mobile tower scaffolds. This is safer for our team and reduces risk of damage to your property.
We take care to protect plants and garden features. Where possible, we'll sheet over delicate plants near the work area. The biocide we use for roofs is applied carefully and dilutes quickly — it won't harm your garden. If you have concerns about specific plants, let us know.
We clean up after every job. For driveways and patios, we wash debris into drains or collect and remove it. For roof cleaning, we bag all moss and take it away. We leave your property clean and tidy — you'll hardly know we've been there (except for the clean surfaces!).
If you're not happy with any aspect of our work, tell us and we'll put it right at no extra cost. Our satisfaction guarantee means we stand behind our work. In the unlikely event of accidental damage, we're fully insured to cover repairs.
