Professional Equipment, Superior Results
We use commercial-grade rotary surface cleaners — not standard pressure washer lances. This gives even, streak-free results and is gentler on your surfaces while being far more effective at removing ingrained dirt, moss and algae.
- Rotary surface cleaners for driveways & patios
- Adjustable pressure for delicate surfaces
- Hot water option for oil & grease removal
I'm Stephen — Former Local Authority Cleaning Inspector
Before starting Stardust Cleaning in 2000, I spent years inspecting cleaning contracts for local councils. I know exactly what "properly clean" looks like — because I used to fail contractors who didn't meet the standard.
That background means I hold every job to professional inspection standards. If it wouldn't pass my old checklist, we're not done.
I personally quote every Bramcote job and oversee quality. When you call, you speak to me — not a call centre.
We Know Bramcote — and Why Driveways Here Need Care

We've been cleaning properties across West Nottingham since 2000 — from the Victorian villas in the conservation area to modern homes on Bramcote Hills and the executive properties around Cow Lane.
Whether you're near the Hemlock Stone, along Town Street, or in the newer developments, we're around 15-20 minutes away via the A52 Brian Clough Way from New Basford.
Areas we cover in Bramcote:
Our Base: New Basford

Key roads we cover:
We've Cleaned Every Era of Bramcote Home
From historic cottages in the conservation area to modern executive homes — we know which surfaces need which approach.
Period Cottages
Original framework knitters' cottages and farm buildings along Town Street. Traditional flagstones, aged brick — needs careful, lower pressure.
Wealthy Manufacturers' Villas
Large Victorian homes built by Nottingham businessmen. Period pointing, York stone paths, mature gardens creating shade.
Bramcote Hills Estate
Post-war housing development built on former manor grounds. Concrete drives or converted front gardens with block paving.
Executive Homes
Newer builds around Cow Lane and Beeston Fields. Resin-bound drives, Indian sandstone, porcelain patios — specialist care needed.

Bramcote Pressure Washing Questions
Got questions? Here are the things customers ask most often.
Driveway cleaning starts from £4 per square metre. A typical 40m² block paving driveway costs £160-£200, including kiln-dried sand re-application. We provide free, fixed-price quotes — no hidden fees.
Light rain doesn't affect pressure washing — we're using water anyway! For heavy rain, we'll contact you to reschedule at no charge. We monitor forecasts and communicate proactively.
Not necessarily. As long as we have access to the area and an outside tap, you don't need to be present. We'll send before and after photos so you can see the transformation.
You can walk on it immediately. For block paving that's been re-sanded, we recommend waiting 24 hours before driving on it to let the sand settle into the joints.
Yes — Town Street, Church Street, Derby Road, Bramcote Hills, and the surrounding areas including Beeston and Wollaton. We're based in New Basford, around 15-20 minutes away via the A52.
Yes. If you're not completely satisfied, we'll return and re-clean at no extra cost. We're also fully insured with £5 million public liability cover for complete peace of mind.
Absolutely. Bramcote's conservation area (designated 1970) has many historic properties including Victorian villas and period cottages. We're experienced with older surfaces including flagstones, York stone, and aged brick. We use appropriate pressure settings and take care around historic pointing.
Bramcote sits on sandstone hills surrounded by mature woodland from Bramcote Hills Park. The shade from established trees combined with moisture-retaining sandy soil creates ideal conditions for moss and algae, particularly on north-facing surfaces. Regular cleaning every 2-3 years keeps on top of it.

About Bramcote
Bramcote is a suburban village in the Broxtowe district of Nottinghamshire, situated on elevated sandstone hills approximately 5 miles southwest of Nottingham. Home to around 9,270 residents (2011 census), the name is thought to be Saxon in origin, meaning "dwelling in the broom". The village appears in the Domesday Book of 1086 as "Bruncote" or "Broncote" in the Wapentake of Broxtowe. The oldest parts of the village were designated a conservation area in 1970. Historically a framework knitting community, Victorian Bramcote became a favoured residence for wealthy Nottingham manufacturers and businessmen who enjoyed its rural character and fine views.
The Hemlock Stone
A 28-foot outcrop of 200-million-year-old red sandstone on Stapleford Hill. Steeped in legend — from Druidic rituals to the Devil hurling it from Derbyshire. Featured in D.H. Lawrence's "Sons and Lovers" and hosts the annual Hemlock Happening festival.
visit-nottinghamshire.co.uk →Bramcote Hills Park
A Green Flag Award-winning park of 27 hectares, comprising woodland and parkland. Once the grounds of Bramcote Hills House (demolished 1968), it features a walled garden, play area, trim trail, and hosts community events including the Hemlock Happening.
broxtowe.gov.uk →The Sunken Church
Only the tower remains of the original medieval church off Town Street, standing in a crowded churchyard. The body of the church dated to the 12th-13th century. The current St Michael and All Angels was built in 1861 by T.H. Wyatt.
nottinghamhiddenhistory.com →Bramcote Manor House
Grade II listed Elizabethan-era building, possibly the most beautiful private home in Bramcote. The manor was possessed by the Hanley family from 1564-1650. Their coat of arms (granted 1612) can still be seen in St Michael's Church.
bramcotehistory.org.uk →St Michael and All Angels
Parish church built 1861 in decorated English style with a tower and spire 130 feet high. The churchyard contains war graves of three WWI soldiers and one from WWII. Replaced the medieval Sunken Church which became too small.
wikipedia.org →Bramcote Conservation Area
Designated in 1970, the conservation area preserves the historic heart of Bramcote including Victorian villas, period cottages, and the village's original street pattern. The Bramcote Conservation Society monitors buildings of historic and architectural interest.
bramcoteneighbourhoodforum.org →White's Directory of 1864 described Bramcote as "one of the most delightful villages in the whole county", and despite modern development, glimpses of that character remain. The village is served by Nottingham's tram and bus network, with the A52 Brian Clough Way connecting to Nottingham and Derby. Local landmarks include the Sherwin Arms and White Lion (known locally as the 'Top House') pubs. The area has become increasingly popular with affluent families, with many large homes built around Cow Lane and Beeston Fields Drive. Notable historical residents include Gilbert Wakefield, the scholar who opened a school here in 1783, and William Ayscough, who introduced printing to Nottingham and died in Bramcote in 1719.
