Professional Equipment, Superior Results
We use commercial-grade rotary surface cleaners — not standard pressure washer lances. This gives even, streak-free results and is gentler on your surfaces while being far more effective at removing ingrained dirt, moss and algae.
- Rotary surface cleaners for driveways & patios
- Adjustable pressure for delicate surfaces
- Hot water option for oil & grease removal
I'm Stephen — Former Local Authority Cleaning Inspector
Before starting Stardust Cleaning in 2000, I spent years inspecting cleaning contracts for local councils. I know exactly what "properly clean" looks like — because I used to fail contractors who didn't meet the standard.
That background means I hold every job to professional inspection standards. If it wouldn't pass my old checklist, we're not done.
I personally quote every East Leake job and oversee quality. When you call, you speak to me — not a call centre.
We Know East Leake — and Why Driveways Here Go Green
East Leake sits in a shallow valley formed by Sheepwash Brook and Kingston Brook — tributaries of the River Soar. These watercourses create a humid microclimate that's perfect for moss and algae growth. Combined with the village's mature trees and sheltered position, surfaces here turn green faster than on higher ground.
We've been cleaning properties across south Nottinghamshire since 2000 — from period cottages on Main Street to the newer estates around Lantern Lane.
Whether you're near St Mary's Church, along Gotham Road, or in the developments off Costock Road, we're around 30-35 minutes away via the A60 from New Basford.
Areas we cover in East Leake:
Our Base: New Basford
Chelsea House, Chelsea Street, NG7 7HP
We head south through Beeston and Clifton, then via the A60 towards Loughborough. East Leake sits just off the main road — whether you're in the village centre near the T-junction, out towards West Leake, or in the newer developments around Lantern Lane.
Key roads we cover:
We've Cleaned Every Era of East Leake Home

Period Cottages

Post-Railway Homes
Larger homes built after the Great Central Railway arrived in 1899. Period pointing, York stone paths, mature gardens.
Post-War Expansion
Housing growth from the 1950s onwards, including estates near the secondary school. Concrete drives and early block paving.
Modern Developments
Rapid village expansion with new estates. Resin-bound drives, Indian sandstone, porcelain patios — specialist care needed.

About East Leake
East Leake is a large village in the Rushcliffe district of Nottinghamshire, approximately 11 miles south of Nottingham and 5 miles north of Loughborough. Home to over 8,500 residents (2021 census), the village takes its name from Old Norse "Laeke" meaning brook — reflecting its position in the Soar Valley along Sheepwash Brook and Kingston Brook. Recorded as "Leche" in the Domesday Book of 1086, the village has grown from an agricultural settlement of around 200 people to one of Nottinghamshire's largest villages. The Treaty of Leake was signed here in 1318 between King Edward II and his baronial opponents, and a Civil War skirmish took place in September 1644.
St Mary's Church
Grade I listed parish church with Norman origins (12th century). Features herringbone masonry, medieval font, and a rare "vamping horn" — one of only six left in the country. Originally dedicated to St Leonard until around 1350.
