For jet cleaning to be effective, we need to be visiting you twice a year – ideally in spring and autumn. The more often we pressure wash your property, the less chance that weed will build up.
1. High-pressure jet washing weed removal
This technique is especially effective for block-paving. The up-to-date pressure washing equipment, operated by our highly-trained technicians, is perfect for blasting away weeds from the cracks between the pavers. - Step 1 – We measure out the area that needs pressure washing.
- Step 2 – We confirm the price before preparing the pressure cleaning equipment. Of course, we need access to electricity and a water source.
- Step 3 – With the pressure washing machine set up, we start the pressure cleaning process. The machine shoots out a powerful stream of water, blasting away accumulated weed from your driveway, patio, paths, decking or exterior walls. No need for detergents. The pressurised water alone is enough.
We can only carry out this jet washing service if there is adequate drainage nearby.
2. For all types of surface
To control weeds, we often favour the weedkiller approach, using an authorised backpack sprayer. Due to the nature of the chemical (Glyphosate Herbicide) and the fact that the correct mix is vital, our technicians have to be highly trained.
They all have a licence for this – specifically PA1 & PA6.
Glyphosate prevents weeds from producing proteins they need for growth. It’s suitable for use against weeds and unwanted grass on all kinds of surfaces. It’s especially effective against poison ivy and poison oak. It even kills tree stumps. Glyphosate is safe and effective as long as you mix and use it properly.
